Every time I drive down West 3rd Street I mourn the loss of The Built By Wendy store. Her cool vintage inspired shop closed a year ago and I just love her girly eclectic style. I can still look at her things online, and maybe visit her remaining shops in New York and Brooklyn, but I miss the proximity of it. Online shopping is just the first step to my shopping process. I like to feel the texture, see the colors, and see just how the piece of clothing looks on ME, and not just the cute skinny models photographed. Sigh....until my next trip to NY I will have to continue to look at dresses like this cutie on online...
