Canteen Purse
Always in search of a great bag that has enough space to put the essentials - phone, keys, glasses, lipstick, etc that doesn't weigh me down. This purse is kinda hot. The light tan color shows the detail of the buttery leather and the color will most definitely warm up with wear. So the question is...600 pesos, roughly $185 USD. Worth it? Thinking about it.

Maria Cher
Black, White, Tangerine. Those are the three colors of Maria Cher's collection. Studs, asymmetrical tops, layers tops (a la Phillip Lim) and blazers filled the shop in cozy washed cottons.

Split Tights
So, I'm traveling...and silly me only decided to bring one pair of tights with me to go out at night. Well, actually mistake number one was buying them at H&M for 5 bucks, because after 20 minutes I got a hole around the ankle. Weird spot, right? So I was bummed and I haven't had time with my work schedule to go out and buy some more. Well - So, I saw this picture and would I look like a train wreck if I just rocked it. Especially in such a conservative city? Hm. I'll post about it if I can pull it off.
Alpargatas : The original TOM's
The Argentine's don't know of TOMS. To them, they are just farm shoes called Alpargatas and they're cheap. TOMS is a great company doing great things....but I thought I would share the colorful options you can get in Argentina. Here is a photo I took at Arandu, a classic Argentine saddlery.(25 pesos - and this is a high end store).
Funny Face
How often are you sitting at your computer and you're playing with pencils or paper clips? I catch people doing it all the time. Wouldn't it be funny to be caught doing that with a mustache pencil?
Get them here.
It's a plane! It's a plane!
This is pretty crazy. I am working in Buenos Aires, and all of a sudden a bunch of fighter planes started zooming by. I am on the 8th floor of a 17 story building. Look how low they are and close together.
Men In Tights
Tights are hot. I'm really into opaque black tights right now...I haven't quite mastered the pattern and colorful styles that have become so popular. Though, tights for men? I mean, Um, I, Uh, hm, uh, err, zag.
If you really do like them, well...then, here's a link to find some for your man.

Watch This
Check out this watch from La Mer. It's kind of a combination of what I love from my dangle bracelets and the Hermes watch all in one. Oh, and it comes lots of fun colors.

Richard Chai + Keds
Richard Chai, a designer who once worked with Mark Jacobs, TSE and now has his own line, is partnering with Keds. Keds, the sneakers that I grew up wearing in the playground. It's possible for them to be cool again.....with Chai's designs. Sort of the Varvato's approach to the converse. Laceless and with zippers in cool white, grey and black - I'll be searching for them in January 2010 when they'll be available for purchase.
Jacket Time
I know we're in the middle of a heat wave in Los Angeles....but fall is around the corner and I'm thinking it's time for a new jacket. So I'm seeing all these jacket's around that are peaking my interest. Here's one from J.Crew...and it's yellow.
